Publications
Mari Paula's practice also unfolds as artistic research and knowledge production. Her work on the anthropophagic body, migration, territory and the relationships between body, culture and matter has been the subject of academic publications, artistic research processes and university studies, especially around the Anthropophagic Trilogy: Retrópica, Devórate and Fronterizas.

Public presentation of the research process for Fronterizas, where Graner documents the piece as the third link in the anthropophagic research, after Retrópica (2017) and Devórate (2019), and traces the development of the trilogy and its relationships between body, migration and technologies. Scientific research · Centro Botín
In 2026, Fronterizas was part of a scientific study carried out by Centro Botín with the University of Cantabria and the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence, aimed at investigating how attending live performing arts influences people’s emotions and creativity. Cuerpografías develops a research between dance, body, territory and urban planning, with processes carried out in different cities and contexts in Spain, Brazil and Mexico.
