Synopsis
This performance was created to biodegrade over 450 years on the great garbage patch of the Pacific, where plastic swallowed the future. Scrap of humanity, an anthropophagic woman was transformed into a digital proletarian after the crisis of representation. She devours herself in search of the pleasure of the collective body she once lost.
Devórate is a dance performance in which, through the female body, it questions the unchecked consumption of plastic materials as well as technological development in the face of simple human existence. With a self-referential and anthropophagic language, the work carried out intensive research through various artistic and technical residencies at choreographic centres and theatres in Spain and Brazil.
