Curatorship
Beyond her work as a creator, Mari Paula has developed an independent curatorial practice for more than ten years, also linked to Las Vivas – Ibero-American Dance and Movement Network Platform. Her work spans selecting and mentoring projects, taking part in committees and juries for open calls, and building programmes and contexts for the performing arts. She maintains a line of research focused on African and Latin American diasporas, creating connections between artists, territories and contexts from a transnational perspective. Her experience unfolds in dialogue with both the public and private sectors in Brazil and Spain, as well as with networks, museums, cultural centres and other platforms for creation and outreach.
