Je Joue Ma Vie is a performance and video project that draws on surrealism and Antonin Artaud's reflections to create an automatic dance free of traditional logic. Guided by psychic automatism and the here and now, the piece frees gesture from stillness in a living process of constant transformation that unites spirit and matter.

Synopsis
Drawing on surrealist ideas, and above all on Artaud’s reflections, Je Joue Ma Vie is a performance and video project that uses the absence of logic as its creative framework. We revisit surrealist texts, manifestos and works in order to create a living process, guided by the existence of pure psychic automatism and the here and now: automatic dance.
If Antonin Artaud’s miracle denies the foolish, academic contradiction between spirit and matter — in Je Joue Ma Vie, our gestures and thoughts cease to belong to us, freeing us from everything that defines us as something static, where the only thing that remains is transformation, becoming.
